The 2017 MSRT Spring Seminar has been cancelled.

The South Dakota Society of Radiologic Technologists is hosting its 69th Annual Conference on April 27th – April 29th, 2017 at the Holiday Inn City Center in Downtown Sioux Falls. 

This annual meeting is a gathering for continuing education and networking of radiologic technologists, students, educators and other medical professionals from all over South Dakota and the surrounding states.  Thursday starts the conference off with a golf tournament and presentations made by students studying radiologic sciences.  On Friday and Saturday we have a variety of motivational lectures, discussions on medical imaging topics and issues affecting the ever-changing world of healthcare.  We also invite you to enjoy all that Downtown Sioux Falls has to offer with our complimentary Trolley service on Friday evening after the banquet.  On Saturday we will offer two educational tracks to choose from: General/Advanced Imaging and Breast Imaging.  Check out the attached agenda to see the great list of speakers we’ve got lined up!

Registration Information:

·         Registration is non-refundable, but may be transferred between technologists.
·         Registration deadline is April 7^th, 2017.  A late registration fee of $35.00 will be charged for on-site registrations.

Hotel Information:

·         The 2017 Conference will be held at the Holiday Inn City Centre at 100 W 8th St Sioux Falls, SD 57104.
·         Rooms have been reserved under the SD Society of Radiologic Technologists.  You must specify our group to get the SDSRT’s rate of $104.00/night + tax, and you must call the hotel directly at (605) 339-2000 or 1-800-HOLIDAY to make your reservation.
·         Hotel room reservation deadline is March 28^th, 2017.

·         Make sure you tell the hotel you are with the South Dakota Society of Radiologic Technologists when making your reservation.

Hello,

My name is Crystal Bromeling, I would like to introduce myself as your MSRT President-Elect. I have been a technologist for over 12 years with seven years’ experience as an educator. About five years ago I made the professional decision to become a member of the MSRT as I wanted to be a role model to my students. I’ve learned that there are many areas of the profession that needs our attention. As your President-elect I want to make a difference in our state regarding medical imaging, and keeping the profession protected. I have been very passionate about our profession through my involvement with the ASRT Grassroots and the MSRT Legislative Committee. I am also the Awards Chair and a member of the Educators’ committee. There have been many great leaders that have been in this role prior to me, and I wish to following in their footsteps.

Currently, I am the Radiologic Technology Program Director at Rasmussen College – Lake Elmo campus. I just launched a new Radiography program for Rasmussen College. This has been an up and down ride, this launch demonstrates my determination and passion for medical imaging.
