    Radiology Technologist

    About the Job

    General Statement of Responsibilities: 

    This position is responsible for performing all radiographic examinations, clerical duties,

    record keeping and maintaining  patient’s exam records. Schedule patients for exams done

    at the hospital and outpatient x-ray departments.

     

    This is a full time 40 hour a week position. The hourly rate ranges $30-$36

    depending on qualifications.

     

    This position offers university holidays off, no weekends, and the Minnesota State

    Retirement System (MSRS) Employee pension plan.  Patient base is college aged

    (no pediatrics).

    Detailed Job Responsibilities: 

    ● Perform radiographic procedures. 

    ● Perform EKGs and Spirometry examinations. 

    ● Schedule x-ray exams for the hospital and outpatient x-ray departments. 

    ● Transport patients from the x-ray department back to clinic area. 

    ● Conduct QA testing and record results. 

    ● Maintain clean radiographic rooms, including cleaning of cassettes.

    ● Perform clerical duties. 

    ● Promote a safe, equitable, and respectful environment in which concerns can be

    addressed effectively. 

    ● Other duties as assigned.

     

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications: 

     AA/AS in radiologic sciences or radiologic technology and combination of related

    education and experience to equal at least six years 

     Graduate of an accredited Radiologic technology school. Must be registered with the

    American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

     Experience working with individuals from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic

    backgrounds.

    • Minneapolis Radiology and Minneapolis Vascular Physicians (MRA/MVP) is an expanding, multi-specialty medical practice in the west metro area. We are seeking a Part-time or possibly Full-time Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. This role will cover multiple locations including Maple Grove, Plymouth, and Waconia. 

      Responsibilities: 

    • Collaborate with physicians to evaluate patients by producing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams.
    • Ensure all patients feel welcome and comfortable during their visit.
    • Work cohesively with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, business office, and front office staff.
    • Maintain flexibility to staff various work locations.
    • Perform vascular, abdominal, retroperitoneal, OB/GYN, and small parts exams.

    • Requirements:

    • RDMS and RVT certification
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Proficiency in EMR software
    • Experience in vascular and OB exams
    • Capability to work independently

        Schedule:

    • 9-10 hour shifts; day shift
    • Monday-Friday
    • No call or weekends

        Experience:

    • Medical Imaging: 1 year experience (minimum)

        License/Certification:

    • RVT (Required)
    • RDMS (Required)

    • Hudson Imaging, based in the Hudson Medical Center building, is looking for a dedicated and patient-centered CT/Rad Technologist to join our team. This Part-Time position is a .6 PTE, with 25 hours of work per week. The role requires working 12-hour shifts every weekend and some holidays, with the following schedule:

    •   Saturday: 8 AM - 9 PM
    •   Sunday: 9 AM - 9 PM


    • Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform and develop high-quality X-rays for diagnostic and treatment purposes.
    • Prepare and inform patients about their procedures.
    • Manage and maintain radiology files, including both internal and external films.
    • Prepare, clean, and stock the work area with necessary supplies.
    • Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs.
    • Adhere to radiation safety precautions.
    • Provide patients with requested X-rays as needed.
    • Assist provider teams in obtaining imaging from other medical facilities for clinics and surgeries.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

      Qualifications:

    • Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology Program.
    • ARRT registration or licensure is required.
    • Previous experience in radiology is preferred.
    • Excellent customer service skills.
    • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
